Investing in Natural Resource ManagementPerth Region NRM's investment in Natural Resource Management is guided by the targets and principles outlined in the Swan Region Strategy for Natural Resource Management (2004). The strategy defines the mid to long term goals. These goals are translated into practical, strategic and specific programs and projects for the Swan NRM Region, through investment plans. The investment plans typically focus on 1 - 3 years of investment, and are based on the following four programs: Integrated Water Management; Natural Diversity; Sustainable Production and Coastal and Marine to deliver outcomes for Natural Resource Management (NRM). Development of investment plans are based on significant input from key stakeholders, particularly via Perth Region NRM's Reference Groups. These key forums provide an important mechanism for engagement and consultation with well over 100 key stakeholders. Current Investment Plan. Previous Investment Plans.
