You're INVITED to the Y Zone World Café! This is your opportunity to have your say about what the most important issues for you are in Agriculture.
What is it?A World Café is a conversational process about topics that matter. You will move between tables, cross pollinate ideas and discover new insights into industry issues. The collective wisdom of the group increases opportunity for effective action.
When is it? October 3 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Where is it?The Esplande Hotel Corner Marine Terrace and Essex Street Fremantle
Will it cost anything?NO it's free. There will be refreshments and light finger food.

Topics to be included are climate change, cost price squeeze, job security, career development, training opportunities and much more.
Who is the Y Zone Advisory Group?The Y Zone is an industry Stake holder group of young farming and agri-professionals working in the Agriculture and Food Sectors. This group is being fostered by the Rural Business Development Corporation to develop strategic responses from young people in Agriculture and ensure that government has the information it needs to plan the future of Agriculture.
Who is the Rural Business Development Corporation? The Rural Business Development Corporation (RBDC) is a board of industry representatives and that provides advice to the Minister for Agriculture. The RBDC also administers financial support schemes for the farm sector on behalf of the State and delivers other services for the benefit of rural industry. The RBDC Act allows the RBDC to administer any 'approved assistance scheme' - any scheme that states the purpose and nature of financial assistance, identifies the categories of persons eligible for financial assistance and is approved by both the Minister and the Treasurer.
